why is Webelos world important
for webelos
scouts?
Webelos itself is a transition
program, designed to let older Cub Scouts learn about the exciting opportunities
they have ahead in
Boy
Scouting,
and quite frankly, to keep them from getting bored with the activities designed
for the younger boys.
Webelos World is offered to help
Webelos Scouts achieve their requirements necessary for attaining the Webelos
badge, and the Arrow of Light award. It also shows Webelos
that the
Boy
Scouting
program is very different from Cub Scouts, and encourages them to join a
Troop that best fits their needs.
This event is a great way to meet Boy Scouts and leaders from a large number of
Boy Scout Troops from the east Phoenix metropolitan area.
